Therefore, he decides to start his adventure searching for the happy life. However, along the way he finds out how much love is waiting for him at home.

Children will really be touched by this tender story written by Sam Lloyd who does a great job of explaining how important and warm a home is. Sam Lloyd picks a grumpy cat as the main character instead of a person which makes the story more interesting, funny, and more easily be understood by children. In addition, the book is full of colors and vividly depicts the expression and behavior of Mr.Pusskins. Without the words in the book, children can still feel the emotional changes of the cat and use their imaginations to guess the development of the story.

I think Mr.Pusskins is a wonderful book for young readers, and it can be illustrated in different ways. Although the whole story is based on a young girl and a cat having some human characteristics, it actually makes connections to the same things happen to parents and children. Sometimes, children think their lives are dull and boring, but they never notice what their parents do express their deep love for them. Though his adventure to chase after the “happy life”, the orange cat helps children realize how precious the love of home is to them. Children can really learn a vital truth in a vivid and relaxed way. In addition, they can also realize that running away from home is such a dangerous thing and learn how to seek help, such as calling their families in times of trouble.
